So about me. This summer I had an accident which really scared me, because I would have gone through the windshield if I hadn't worn my seatbelt. It was pretty scary, but I'm driving again, and I tend to appreciate things more now. (hopefully that will last for awhile :) But n-e-ways, I am called starkat by my friends because I love stars and anything to do with space. (Plus I have a tattoo that really makes me starkat!) Going along with that I intern at Goddard Space and Flight Center in a program called National Space Club Scholars Program. The other interns are really neat, and my two mentors are very interesting. Did anyone ever notice that astrophysists go to the beat of their own drums? (now i feel like a nerd since i just said that...ohh well) But anyway, that's cool. The other big thing in my life now is college. I go to the University of Arizona. Go Wildcats!
Anyways, continuing on. I am studying electrical engineering and astronomy. But most of my life is taken up by, parties! Just kidding :) Most of my life is taken up my the marching band. It kicks ass, though it is a lot of work. THis year we are playing Tommy the rock opera by the WHO...Its awesome. Anyways, plenty about me. Check out the rest of the web site.
For those thinking college is completely better than high school, forget it. Sometimes there is just as much petty stuff. "And all your weight it falls on me, it brings me down". But then there are the friendships and moments that you share with people that make it worth while, just as much as anything else in your life. "If you steal my sunshine". (Don't worry Cassie and Kerry, I will never forget you two. Love you much, and miss you too.)
